For the
proper selection of required gear motors and gear box
unit, make all available necessary data.
¢ºCalculate required output torque (T1)
or Power (kW) Refer to Convenient
Formula for the relations among the Torque(T1),Power
(kW) and Horse Power(HP)
¢ºCalculate required output shaft speed(n2)
and input shaft speed (n1) or transmission ratio
Refer to Convenient
Formula for the relations
among the Output Speed ,Input Speed and
Reduction ratio
¢ºDetermine the service factor Refer
to the Service Factor
¢ºSelect the proper gear motor or reducer
size on the basis of torque (T1) greater
than or equal to T1 x Sf on CH.9
Table of nominal transmission ratio , power and torque.
where |
T= nomunal torque T1=load
torque Sf=service factor |
¢ºVerify permissible over hung load
by referring to the instructions and values specified
on CH.6 Over Hung Load If
there are over loads, verify that the maximum torque
is always less than the O.H.L. values specified on this
catalogues. You have to consider that over loads
are caused by low transmission ratio, high force of
interia, braking, higher power than required and other
dynamic and static loads. If you have any questions
or severe operating conditions, consult us.
¢ºBy nominating location and direction
of output shaft and selecting the follow options, you
have completed the selection.
